The Text Analysis Portal for Research (TAPoR) is a gateway to tools for sophisticated text analysis and retrieval, along with representative texts for experimentation. Part of this Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI) funded initiative is to provide training resources to help researchers and graduate students better utilize the digital technologies in their studies. This Training Series introduced important research technologies for research. These videos will walk the viewer through more than four hours of easy to understand interactive video recordings, each one designed to introduce users to a new topic relating to computing in the humanities. Each of the workshops is directed by an instructor with expertise and experience using digital technology in education. This training series has been compiled by Dr. Stéfan Sinclair, an architect of the TAPoR portal and a developer of digital tools for text analysis. Technical production of the videos is by Zach Melnick. The TAPoR Training Series was support by CFI, OIT, and McMaster University (see also TAPoR.ca).
